Loving my self ends up with love and truth losing their true meaning

God, what were You thinking? And You tell me that all this happened because of Your fierce anger. How could any of Your people back then cuddle up to You as a loving Father? And if You’re the same today as yesterday, how am I to rest in Your mercies, to enjoy Your unfailing compassions
